Mabon

dirt road cover by dried leaves

A time of reaping what was previously sowed

A time of rest and to collect what is owed

Another year’s harvest comes to pass

Gathering goods to survive winter’s wrath

Planting new seeds

Watching the trees change

This holiday has roots with a wide range

Coming together with thanks in our hearts

We watch as summer starts to depart

It’s the beginning of fall

Welcoming all

A reminder of the changing seasons

Much like life’s many endings and beginnings

We welcome winter with open hearts

We are blessed with natures gifts from mother earth

Thank you for the lessons learned

We let go of what is no longer needed

Making room for new blessings to be seeded.

Happy Mabon tomorrow. Thank you so much for reading this post <3
