The Sunshine Blogger Award: Another Greatly Appreciated Nomination

Hello guys! I am excited to announce I have been nominated for another award, this time for the Sunshine Blogger Award. MCH was nominated for this award by the very talented blogger Tiger Lily Evergreen, who was also nominated for her beautiful website and heartfelt content created. Once you are done reading this post, you should definitely check out some of the content!

What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?

Through a little bit of research, I found out that The Sunshine Blogger Award is an award given to bloggers who express creativity, positivity, and inspirational posts through the blogger community. It is passed down from blogger to blogger as a way to recognize inspirational bloggers.

Personally, I am beyond thrilled to receive this award nomination. It fills my heart with joy to know people enjoy and gain something positive from my writings. Blogging can be hard work, and awards like this are a great way to motivate bloggers to keep writing so that they are making an impact in the writing community. Thank you once more, Tiger Lily Evergreen, for nominating Maybe Crazy Help for the Sunshine Blogger Award, and congratulations as well. P.S. your pen name reminds me of one of my favorite animes, FairyTail lol.

My Questions

  • Would you instead hike a mountain or lay on the beach?

Honestly, this question is hard for me to answer because I love nature and all things involving life. However, I believe I would instead hike on a mountain than lay on the beach, for the sole reason of seeing more of life. Though a nice relaxing day at the beach would be nice as well.
  • What famous person in history would you like to meet?

There are many people from the past I would love to meet, just sit down and talk to for hours exchanging thoughts. However, I think the person I would most like to meet is the person I chose for my logo, Albert Einstein himself. I have a deep love for science, technology, invention, and those who get lost in deep thoughts. Being able to sit down and exchange ideas with Einstein would be a dream come true.
  • If you could listen to one genre of music forever, what would it be?

I have a deep love for instrumental music, I could listen to this type of genre of music and never get tired of it. If you think about it, you could listen to all kinds of music just by listening to songs without the vocals. 😉
  • Are you a cat person or a dog person?

In short, I am an animal person. I love all animals, but if it had to come down to either a cat or dog, I would probably go with a cat.
  • Tea or coffee?

This is another difficult question because all I drink is tea, coffee, and water, with a little soda here and there. Though, I would probably have to go with tea because of all of the health benefits and wonderful flavors.
  • Pepsi or Coke?

My grandfather is going to be so upset if he comes across this post, he worked for Coca-Cola for many years and was a dedicated man to his company. One time he even took me to the “take your kid to work event,” and I got scolded for wanting Mountain Dew, a Pepsi product. Even so, I still prefer Pepsi to Coke, though I drink both.
  • What five things could you not live without?

-My son, is my greatest joy, inspiration, and the reason I strive to be the best person I can be.-My glasses or contacts (I cannot see anything without them, I am technically blind without them) I would not be able to read or write very well without them.-A blanket my brother bought me for Christmas one year. I have had it through every major event since 2014. I got it after I left the hospital when I lost the majority of my memory and have had it through a miscarriage in 2016, and I had it in the delivery room when I had my son in 2017. It is very sentimental.

-My notebooks and writing instruments. I love to write and usually have something on hand to write down random thoughts.

-My Kindle app. I love, love, love to read. Getting lost in a good book is one of my favorite ways to pass the time. Downloading books means I don’t have to have WIFI to read them so I can read anywhere I like.

  • If you were in a band, what instrument would you play?

I would love to be a vocalist, though I need practice. I’ve sung in front of one of the facilities I resided in as a teen, for a graduation celebration. I was terrified but got a loud woohoo, which helped ease the nerves lol. If you’re talking about an actual instrument, I would love to play the guitar or piano. I had 6 months of guitar lessons and can proudly play twinkle twinkle little star ha-ha.
  • What did you want to grow up to be as a child?

As a child, my greatest wish was to be a veterinarian for bigger animals (like lions, tigers, and bears, oh my!). As I mentioned prior, I have a massive heart for animals. However, life changed, and I decided I wanted to be a video game designer, now I am committed to helping others overcome some of the darker parts of the mind. As you can tell, my career path changed a bit until I found what I believe to be my true calling.
  • What is the best compliment you’ve ever received?

I believe the best compliment I’ve received are the ones where people let me know I am helping them through my writings. It is a great feeling to know I am helping at least one person through a difficult time.
  • What is your favorite time of year?

My favorite time of the year is the fall. I love the colors of the changing trees and the light hoodie weather. It’s perfect for going on walks with my little one in the stroller. It also reminds me of changing and making room for new growth, it’s a beautiful season.
